Anand Pandit has always admired Amitabh Bachchan. He remembers how his role as Vijay in “Trishul” had a huge impact on him. “I’ve watched Trishul nearly 60 times,” Pandit says, “and it deeply inspired me. The story of a man who comes to the city with nothing and makes it big in the construction business motivated me.”
Pandit says this character inspired him to move from Gujarat to Mumbai to follow his dreams. His desire to make “Trishul 2” has been a long-held dream, shaped by Amitabh’s influence. “This sequel will be my tribute to the man who inspired me before we even met in person.”
“Trishul”, directed by Yash Chopra, was a great success. It tells the story of an illegitimate son, who seeks revenge on his father by destroying his empire.”Trishul 2″ will explore Vijay life after making peace with the Gupta family.
For Pandit, the sequel is not just a professional project but also personal. He plans to explore what happened to Vijay after being accepted by the family, whether he found happiness with Geeta, started a family of his own, and if he was able to heal from his past.
