The controversy ignited when Mohanlal’s admirers criticized Vijay’s performance in their previous collaboration, “Jilla.” This critique drew ire from Vijay’s fans, sparking a heated exchange across social media platforms. In retaliation, some of Vijay’s supporters began dissecting Mohanlal’s acting prowess in various films, further intensifying the online battle.
