Legendary playback singer S. Janaki has touched the hearts of generations with her lovely voice.
She has sung more than 40000 songs in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. She is currently living a retired life.
Sadly a tragedy has struck her family as her only son, Murali Krishna passed away early this morning.
Janaki was born in Guntur and later moved to Chennai after starting her singing career. She was married to Ram Prasad and they had one son, Murali Krishna who acted in a few films.
Murali later divorced his wife Uma and had been living with his mother in Hyderabad. Reports say he suffered a sudden heart attack. This is a huge and painful loss for Janaki. Many from the film industry and fans have expressed their condolences.
