A tragic accident occurred during the shooting of SJ Suryah’s upcoming film Killer at Binny Mills in Perambur, Chennai.
A 26 year old crew member Madhan lost his life while three others were injured during the filming of a bomb blast sequence on Wednesday morning that is today.
According to reports the incident happened around 5 a.m. when a gas cylinder being used for the action scene suddenly exploded on the set. Madhan suffered severe injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital. However he later passed away despite receiving treatment.
3 other crew members were also injured and are currently undergoing treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation and whether proper safety measures were followed during filming without fail.
