Trade Talk: Ravi Teja’s Khiladi eyes a festive release

The shooting for mass hero Ravi Teja’s upcoming film, Khiladi is almost wrapped up except for a few minor portions. Being directed by Ramesh Varma, the film was supposed to hit the screens on May 28th but the Covid second wave circumstances disturbed the film’s release plans.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear from the trade circles is that the film is eyeing a Diwali festival release. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out soon. On the other hand, the team is gearing up to kick-start the film promotions from September 10th by unveiling the first single from the audio album.

Starring Dimple Hayathi and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads, Khiladi also has Anasuya in a key role. Koneru Satyanarayana in association with Pen Studios banner is bankrolling the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
