Trade betting big on Liger and Agent

Among the films releasing in the second half of 2022, Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger and Akhil Akkineni’s Agent are carrying good expectations among the audience. While Vijay’s Liger is scheduled for an August 25th release, Akhil’s Agent which is scheduled for August 12th release has been postponed and the new release date is expected to be out soon.

Meanwhile, the latest reports from trade circles indicate that a whopping Rs 150 crore theatrical business is riding on both Liger and Agent collectively. Will both films manage to impress the audience and mint profits for the investors? Remains to be seen.

Puri Jagannadh is the director for Liger and has Bollywood beauty, Ananya Pandey, as the female lead. On the other hand, Agent is directed by Surender Reddy and has a new girl Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead.
