YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu was arrested after making offensive comments about the relationship between a father and daughter, which went viral and sparked widespread outrage on social media.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced action in response. Hyderabad police caught Praneeth Hanumanthu in Bengaluru and presented him in a Hyderabad court.
Following court approval, he is currently under custody for further investigation. Additionally, his blood tests revealed drug traces, indicating he had consumed ganja.
As the investigation progresses, Praneeth Hanumanthu faces multiple charges, including those under the IT Act, IPC Section 294, POCSO Act, and now the NDPS Act for drug consumption. He is currently at Chanchalguda jail.
