After the huge success of KGF, Yash took a long break and turned down many film offers. He finally chose Toxic a high-energy action drama directed by Geetu Mohandas.
The teaser of Toxic was released recently and created a lot of discussion and controversy. The film is set to clash with the Hindi biggie Dhurandhar 2, which could affect both films.
Telugu producer Dil Raju has reportedly bought the theatrical rights of Toxic in Telugu states for around Rs. 120 crore.
He will release the film on an advance basis with a refund clause, making it a big risk and his biggest distribution bet in recent years.
Toxic also becomes the biggest non-Telugu film deal in Telugu states. The film is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, with Kiara Advani and Nayanthara in key roles.
