Actor Ravi Teja is back with his new movie, Touch Chesi Choodu and he is happy to be back among the thick of things after a gap. His Raja The Great, became a good box office grosser, proving that his fans and audience are still waiting for his movies. Now, the actor is looking to deliver a huge hit with Touch Chesi Choodu, more commercial and masala entertainer than his earlier film. He interacted with the press today to talk about his film.
He said, “I am an extremely positive person and believe age is just a number. You might be saying I am these many years of age but I don’t believe in that at all. As far as my choices are concerned, I did try Shambo Siva Shambo and Naa Autograph, to break the mold but people liked the energy in me more than such films. So, I will mix them up as much as I can going forward.” Talking about Touch Chesi Choodu, he said, “Vakkantham Vamsi gave me this story and as I liked it, I asked Vikram Sirikonda, to direct it even though I liked his story too. I felt, this is a great opportunity for the young director and he proved me right.”
He then talked about how he enjoyed working on the film. “Raashi Khanna performed much better than I anticipated and growth in her visible. Seerat Kapoor plays a more glamorous role and she is sweetheart and delight to work with. Vikram handled the story and in few sequences, he exceeded my expectations,” said the actor. Talking about his next movies, “I am open to other language films but I never plan anything in advance. I am willing to experiment but the script should permit it. Kalyan Krishna’s film finished 25% of the shoot and Srinu Vaitla’s Amar Akbar Anthony is in pre-production. These are my next two confirmed projects,” concluded Mass Maharaja, Ravi Teja.
