Top OTT platform Grabs ‘Skanda’ Movie Rights

The latest blockbuster, ‘Skanda: The Attacker,’ a thrilling mass action entertainer, is a collaborative masterpiece by actor Ram Pothineni and director Boyapati Sreenu. After an extensive round of promotions, this high-octane action drama has finally graced the silver screens.

Exciting news surrounds the film’s digital rights, as Disney Hotstar has secured the exclusive OTT rights for a staggering sum of Rs 45 crores. This deal marks a career milestone for Ram Pothineni, setting a new high for his digital rights.

For satellite distribution, Star Maa has emerged as the chosen partner, while Hotstar takes the reins as the OTT platform. Fans can anticipate the OTT release in the last week of October.

Notably, ‘Skanda’ represents Ram Pothineni’s maiden Pan-India release, debuting in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Impressively, the film’s entire pre-release business has already been locked at an impressive Rs 85 crores, putting the makers well into profit territory even before its theatrical release.
