After creating an all-time record with the 2017 blockbuster, Baahubali 2, ace director SS Rajamouli is back with yet another Magnum Opus titled, RRR. Amid huge expectations, the film has hit the screens globally yesterday. As per the trade reports, RRR has crossed the opening day record of Baahubali 2 and emerged as the new all-time record opener among Indian movies. Featuring NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, SS Rajamouli’s RRR has collected a whopping worldwide share of Rs 135.5 crore( including all versions) on its opening day.
Rajamouli’s 2017 film, Baahubali 2 starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the prominent roles collected a worldwide share of Rs 122.5 crore.
Starring Prabhas in the lead role, the 2019 film, Saaho collected a worldwide share of Rs 73.58 crore.
Rajamouli and Prabhas’ 2015 film, Baahubali 1 collected a share of Rs 52.8 crore.
Starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Sye Raa, the 2019 film directed by Surender Reddy has managed to collect a worldwide share of Rs 50.11 crore on its opening day.
