Tollywood’s big names recently met with Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Telangana’s appointed Minister of Cinematography, marking the first interaction between him and the Telugu film industry since assuming office. Dil Raju, head of the Telugu Film Chamber, led a group of influential industry figures to extend their appreciation for Reddy’s new role.
They conveyed their gratitude during this meeting. Scheduled for December 21, Reddy will accompany these members of the Telugu Film Industry for a special meeting with the newly appointed Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy. Reddy, upon taking office, expressed disappointment that, besides Dil Raju, no one from the industry had congratulated him on his ministerial appointment.
Following Reddy’s remarks, industry representatives responded, stating their intention to meet and convey their congratulations soon. The Telugu producers emphasized the importance of nurturing a positive relationship between the government and the film industry. They aimed to establish and maintain a healthier interaction between both sectors.
This interaction signifies an effort to bridge the gap and foster a more collaborative relationship between the government and Tollywood, underscoring the desire for mutual support and cooperation between the film industry and the administration in Telangana.
