2026 promises an exciting year for Tollywood with several major releases planned across festive and peak seasons, featuring big stars, high-profile clashes, and a varied lineup, even as a few top actors stay away from theatres this year.
1. The Raja Saab
The year is expected to begin on a festive note with The Raja Saab, which is scheduled for a grand Sankranthi release on January 9, 2026. The film is expected to open the year with strong box office expectations.
2. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu
Close on the heels of The Raja Saab, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is expected to arrive in theatres on January 12, 2026, making it another major festival release during the Sankranthi season.
3. Swayambhu
Scheduled for release in February 2026, Swayambhu stars Nikhil Siddhartha as a warrior. The film is directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and features Samyuktha Menon and Nabha Natesh in the lead female roles.
4. Decoit
Decoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur and directed by Shaneil Deo, is expected to hit theatres around mid-March 2026. The film is seen as one of the key releases of the month.
5. Peddi
Ram Charan’s Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. The film is expected to be one of the biggest box office attractions of the year.
6. The Paradise

7. Ustaad Bhagat Singh
