On January 13th, Megastar Chiranjeevi met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and discussed with him, in detail, the problems that the industry is facing due to the reduction in ticket prices. Impressed by Chiru’s presentation, Jagan is said to have come to agree with the actor on certain aspects and agreed to increase the ticket prices in the state.
Jagan is also said to have asked Chiru to send a representation of Tollywood members to him, to discuss further about the issue. As a result, Chiru will now be taking a delegation to meet with the AP CM, on February 10th. This delegation is said to consist of Chiranjeevi, NTR, Mahesh Babu, Prabhas and Narayana Murthy, directors S S Rajamouli and Trivikram Srinivas.
Given that the big-budget films that are ready for release in the coming days are RRR, Radhe Shyam and Sarkaru Vaari Paata, all those involved with these films would be going to the meeting. It is now to be seen what discussion will take place, and what the final result of the discussion would be.
