Tollywood’s crucial meeting with Perni Nani

For a few days now, the hottest topic in the Andhra Pradesh political circles, and in Tollywood’s circles has been the ticketing issue in Andhra Pradesh, and the speech that Pawan Kalyan has given on the same, during the pre-release event of Republic. There has been a lot of back and forth since Pawan’s speech, with the involvement of AP’s ministers, and now, even Posani Krishna Murali got involved in the matter.

Tollywood’s big names have been trying their best to control the damage that’s being caused as much as they can, and several producers, including Dil Raju, DVV Danayya, UV Vamshi, Sunil Narang and Naveen Yerneni have flown to AP to meet with AP’s Cinematography minister Perni Nani today, and discuss how to go about the ticketing issue.

Ever since the AP government announced that there would be no significant increase in the ticket prices, Tollywood has been trying to get the prices up, by discussing the same with the AP government. With this meeting, it is now to be seen if the big producers of Tollywood manage to make a breakthrough.
