Tollywood to remain shutdown from today. A couple of days back an official announcement came out that all film shootings will be halted from August 1st.

Reportedly, the active producers guild has decided to stall the film shootings until clarity on various industry-related issues like OTT releases, ticket prices and remuneration of stars are sorted out. We already reported that the producers guild is planning to approach hero Ram Charan to communicate with other stars regarding the remuneration issues.

As per the reports, the producers’ council is keen on bringing some key changes and by-laws in filmmaking. Have to wait and see how far will the efforts of the producers guild yield fruitful results or not.
