AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan recently met leading Tollywood producers like Naga Vamsi, Sahu Garapati, Venkata Satish Kilaru, Sudhakar Cherukuri and others in Rajahmundry.
Despite his busy political schedule Pawan discussed the ongoing Percentage System issue in Telangana with the producers.
He assured them that the AP government would continue supporting the Telugu film industry in every possible way.
Pawan also promised that big films releasing in AP would receive permissions for ticket price hikes and extra shows as per government rules.
During the meeting, the discussion about “Peddi” getting ticket hikes and additional shows also came up. Pawan assured support within legal limits.
Meanwhile, AP distributors have already applied for the hikes, and an official clarity is expected before the weekend ahead of the film’s June 4th release.
