Tollywood looking at a promising week

This past week has been a good one for the Telugu film industry, with F3 turning out to be a good success. It now looks as though the industry is heading into another promising week, with three movies set to release. While only one movie is a direct Telugu movie, the other two would be released in the language as well.

Adivi Sesh’s Major has been one of the most anticipated films in the industry, and the pre-bookings of the film are quite good and is all set to release on June 3rd. Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is also set to release on the same day, along with Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj.

Major and Vikram are especially generating a lot of buzz in the Telugu states, and while Vikram may not be a direct Telugu film, it is expected to get in good profits for the Telugu distributors. On the whole, it is now to be seen whether this promising week will turn into a good one or not. Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, while Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
