Tollywood Box-Office: Hits and Flops in 2020!

Tollywood is one of the industries that produce more than 180 films in a calendar year. But this year, due to the COVID pandemic, theaters were closed for around 10 months which a large period. A near to 49 films got released this year and around 15 films skipped theatrical release and released on OTT platforms.

The last notable film to release this year is Solo Bratuke So Better. The movie though released with just 50 percent occupancy has been doing really well. We can consider this as a hit if it can sustain on weekdays as well. Now, let us have a look at the hits and flops in 2020.

Ala Vaikunthapuramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru are huge blockbusters that released for Sankranthi. 2020 start has been amazing for Tollywood but not so after that. Even Bheeshma has done well and HIT turned into an average grosser.

Disco Raja, Worlds Famous Lover, Jaanu, Aswathama failed to impress the audiences.
