April and May are generally good months for the box office because they are summer months when many people go to theaters which increases the earnings of producers. However, in the recent weeks there have been not many great films which could be released.
This has reduced audience turnout especially for new releases and this is evident with small budget movies that made it to theaters. For this reason, the box office has been considered to be dull. There is going to be two movies released this weekend but the prospects of these two movies do not seem exciting at all.
“Raju Yadav,” featuring Srinu of Jabardasth, has failed at the box office, and audiences panned the film during its opening day. The other film, Love Me, starring Ashish Reddy has also not created any buzz.
As for the future, we are expecting three new films on May 31st. “Gangs of Godavari,” starring Vishwak Sen, “Bhaje Vaayu Vegam,” starring Karthikeya, and “Gam Gam Ganesha,” starring Anand Deverakonda are going to release on the same day. These releases are important for all the lead actors as all of them are in desperate need of a successful movie.
