Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for a film titled, Jailer. Being directed by Beast fame Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer has Ramya Krishnan in a negatively shaded character. Bankrolled by Sun Pictures, Jailer also has Tamannaah in a key role. While senior director KS Ravikumar is providing the screenplay, Jailer is likely to hit the screens sometime in 2023. Anirudh is the music composer. The film also has Tollywood actor Sunil in a key role.
A few months back news came out that for his next two projects, Rajinikanth will be working under the Lyca Productions banner which we had already revealed earlier. In the meantime, news also came out that Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to do an extended cameo role in a film titled, Laal Salaam. Reportedly, Rajinikanth’s elder daughter Aishwarya is directing Laal Salaam. An official announcement regarding the movie along with the first look title poster is released by the makers a few months back.
Starring noted actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth Santhosh in the lead roles, reports suggest that actress-turned-filmmaker Jeevitha Rajasekhar is roped in to play Rajinikanth’s younger sister role in Laal Salaam. AR Rahman is the music composer for the film. Subaskaran and Mahaveer are the producers.
