Tillu Square Story: In the sequel, Tillu(Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is now a businessman. He runs Tillu Events and chances upon Lilly(Anupama Parameswaran) at a party and gets cozy. Later, Lilly goes missing and comes back stating that she is pregnant, and lands Tillu in shock. What will Tillu do now? How will he handle this situation? and is Lilly hiding something? Performances: Tillu Square is all about Siddhu Jonnalagadda and his unique identity. Right from his body language to the one-liners, Siddhu kills it in the film and is a one-man show in the film. His dialogues and punches will be loved by the audience big time. Anupama Parameswaran is a surprise package of the film. Her glamor is the biggest weapon and she steals the show in the film. Prince is neat in his role. Murali Sharma and the supporting cast did a solid job in their roles. There is so much fun generated through various characters in the film.
Technical Aspects: Tillu Square has great music by Ram Miryala and the songs have been set up superbly. Dialogues are the biggest highlights and full marks to Siddhu for penning some hilarious dialogue. The editing was neat and so was the production design. The production values by Sitara Entertainments are amazing and the screenplay is superb by Mallik Ram. The runtime of 2 hours is perfect and there is never a dull moment in the film as the writing is solid and gives away solid entertainment.
Analysis: Tillu Square was released with a lot of expectations and there was one question of whether the film would live up to all the hype or not. But boy the film is mad fun and lives up to the high expectations put on it. Credit should go to Siddhu Jonnalagadda for penning a solid story in the sequel. Not only does Siddhu clear all the mistakes from the first part, but he nicely joins both parts with solid fun.
Multiple twists in the film have been revealed at regular intervals. The first half of the film is good but all the fun is generated in the second half. The surprise entries, comedy, and romance between the lead pair are nicely executed. The writing is what makes this film click. Even the simple conversations are amazing.
The interval bang and climax twist have been handled superbly. The producers made sure that the audience got the fun as to what they would expect and came to the theatre. The glamor role of Anuapama will be loved by the youth. It is also an added advantage to the film.
Tillu Square will do big numbers at the box office and there is no denying the fact. Siddhu Jonnalagadda once again proves what a fine actor he is with this film. All those who had complaints with DJ Tillu will have a ball as the writing is towards the galleries and thrills are nicely managed.
