Jayam Ravi is one of the most popular heroes in Tamil movies. He is the son of Editor Mohan, who started his career from Telugu films and hails from Telugu family. Editor Mohan is also known for producing big blockbusters that are majorly remakes. Now, his elder son, Mohan Raja and younger son, Jayam Ravi have started working in the films as director and actor, respectively.
Jayam Ravi, got that name because he acted in the Tamil Jayam remake as his debut. The actor has met the Telugu press in Hyderabad today. The actor talked about his new movie, TIK TIK TIK. He said, ” I have never come for promotions to Hyderabad as not many of my movies released here. I can say that most of my films have been remakes from Telugu too. But after Thani Oruvan, I decided to make as many different subjects as I can. When one film like Thani Oruvan can succeed, I should not limit myself to making such movies again and again. So, I am trying new movies every time.”
He further said, ” My son Aarav, is debuting in this movie, as my son only. I am proud as a father, as a seven year old kid, he is able to perform very well. I am majorly promoting this movie for him as well.” About the release date of the movie, the actor said that the team is thinking about simultaneous release and hence, they need time to announce it.
About the VFX work and resembles with Hollywood movies, the actor said, ” We cannot deny resemblances but that should not bring us down. This is a complete Indian made film and we were able to get all the complicated VFX done in limited budget in just five months time. Shakti Soundar Rajan will be the next big director and I have that belief in him.”
