Ravi Teja has started work on his new film, Thulabharam, directed by Vivek Athreya.
The makers released the title video, introduced the main cast and held the film’s launch ceremony. Ravi Teja’s remuneration and Priyanka Arul Mohan’s reported paycheck have become talking points.
Following the success of Irumudi, Ravi Teja is reportedly charging around Rs 40 crore, including his fee and share in the film’s business.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is said to have received her career’s highest remuneration for this project. After OG became a blockbuster, she reportedly waited for a strong role and better pay.
Vivek Athreya reportedly wanted Priyanka as the female lead, and the producers agreed to her demand. However, the exact figures have not been officially disclosed.
