Like every week, this week also a few films are gearing up for a theatrical release. Along with theatrical releases, a good number of web series’, OTT shows, and films that already had theatrical releases are scheduled for digital premieres during this Valentine’s Day weekend. Now, we bring you the list of films and OTT shows ready to entertain the audience this week. Below is the list.
Theatrical releases:
1) Sir/Vaathi
Kollywood star Dhanush’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual project, Sir, directed by Venky Atluri is slated to hit the screens on February 17th. The film will have a simultaneous release in Tamil as Vaathi. Bimbisara fame Samyuktha Menon is the female lead. SIR/Vaathi is bankrolled by young filmmaker Naga Vamsi under his Sithara Entertainments banner in association with Trivikram’s Fortune Four Cinemas banner. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer. Samuthirakani will be seen in the antagonist role.
2) Shehzada
Star hero Allu Arjun’s 2020 blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is being remade in Hindi with young hero Kartik Aaryan as Shehzada. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada is scheduled for February 17th release. While Kriti Sanon played the female lead, Shehzada also stars Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala in key roles.
3) Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha
Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s new film, Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha directed by Murali Kishore Abburu is slated to hit the screens on February 18th as Mahashivaratri special. Produced by Bunny Vasu under GA2 Pictures banner, Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts banner is presenting Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha. Chaitan Bharadwaj is the music composer. Kashmira Pardeshi is the female lead in Vinaro Bhagyam Vishnu Katha and the film also stars Murali Sharma in a key role.
4) Sridevi Sobhan Babu
Santosh Shobhan and Gouri Kishan starrer Sridevi Sobhan Babu is scheduled for a February 18th release as a Maha Shivaratri festival special. Written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, Syed Kamran composed soundtracks for this rural drama. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s elder daughter Sushmita Konidela is the film’s producer.
5) Oo Antava Mama Oo Oo Antava Mama
Jabardast fame Rocking Rakesh and Yashwanth starrer Oo Antava Mama Oo Oo Antava Mama is scheduled for February 18th release.
OTT releases:
Zee5:
1) Lost
A thriller titled, Lost is gearing up for direct-to-OTT release on February 16th. Lost is Zee5’s original film.
Amazon Prime Video
1) Carnival Row ( second season)
The second season of Amazon Prime ‘s original series, Carnival Row is gearing up for premieres on February 15th.
2) Gaalodu
Directed by RajaSekar Reddy Pulicharla, Gaalodu starring Sudigali Sudheer and Gehna Sippy as the lead pair had a theatrical release a few months back and ended up as a commerical success. The film is now scheduled for OTT premieres on February 17th on Amazon Prime Video.
Disney Plus Hotstar:
1) Malikappuram
The Telugu dubbed version of Malayalam film, Malikappuram is scheduled for digital premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 15th.
2) Sadha Nannu Nadipe
A Telugu film titled, Sadha Nannu Nadipe is scheduled for digital premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 16th.
3) The Night Manager Hindi remake
The Hindi remake of the foreign language series titled, The Night Manager is scheduled for a February 17th premieres.
4) J-Hope In The Box
A Korean series titled, J-Hope In the Box is scheduled for digital premieres on the OTT platform on February 17th.
Aha:
1) Kalyanam Kamaneeyam
Young hero Santosh Shobhan’s film, Kalyanam Kamaneeyam had a theatrical release during the Sankranthi season. Co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, Kalyanam Kamaneeyam directed by Anil Kumar Aalla failed to impress the audience. The film is now gearing up for digital premieres on February 17th.
2) Gaalodu

This foreign language film is scheduled for digital premieres on Netflix on February 14th.

This Hindi language web show will be showcasing the story of Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra’s journey to building a world class romantic library. The show is gearing up for digital premieres on February 14th.
