Like every week also a few films are gearing up for a theatrical release. Along with theatrical releases, a good number of web series’, OTT shows and films are scheduled for digital premieres. Now, we bring you the list of films and OTT shows ready to entertain the audience this week. Below is the list.
1) Top Gear
Starring Aadi Saikumar in the lead role, Top Gear directed by K Sasikanth is gearing up for a theatrical release on December 30th. The film has Riya Suman as the female lead.
2) Chasing
Touted as an action thriller, Chasing has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role. The film is directed by K. Veerakumar and is gearing up for a December 30th release.
3) Lucky Lakshman
Featuring Bigg Boss fame Syed Sohel Ryan in the lead role, Lucky Lakshman co-starring Mokksha as the female lead is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 30th. AR Abhi is the film’s director.
4) Driver Jamuna
Directed by P. Kinslin, Driver Jamuna featuring Aishwarya Rajesh, Sriranjani and Aadukalam Naren in lead roles is scheduled for a December 30th release in Tamil and Telugu languages.
5) Rajayogam
Starring Sai Ronak, Ankita Saha and Bismi Naas in lead roles, Rajayogam directed by B Sampathkumar is scheduled for a December 30th release.
6) S5( No Exit)
Directed by Bharrath Komalapati, S5( No Exit) starring Tarakaratna and Prince in the lead roles is scheduled for a December 30th release.
7) Once Upon A Time in Devarakonda
Once Upon A Time in Devarakonda directed by Kushal Gowda featuring Dhananjaya, Aditi Prabhudeva, Praanya P Rao and Yash Shetty as lead characters is gearing up for a December 30th release. The film also has Prakash Belawadi, Bhavana Ramanna and Rushika Raj in key roles.
8) Korameenu
Starring Anand Ravi, Harish Uthaman, and Shatru in lead roles, Korameenu is directed by Sripathy Karri. The film is set in Vizag’s backdrop and is scheduled for a December 30th release.
1) Unstoppable with NBK season 2
The much-awaited episode featuring Prabhas and Gopichand as the chief guests is gearing up for premieres this weekend on Aha. Nandamuri Balakrishna is the host for this celebrity talk show.
2) Butterfly
Noted heroine Anupama Parameswaran’s long-delayed project, Butterfly is finally set to see the day of light. Reportedly, Butterfly will have a direct-to-OTT release on the reputed streaming platform, Disney Plus Hotstar on December 30th.
3) D.S.P
Features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, D.S.P has Anukreethy in the female lead role. Co-starring Prabhakar, Pugazh, Ilavarasu, G. Gnanasambandam, Deepa and Singampuli in key roles, D.S.P directed by Ponram had a theatrical release in the first week of December. The film is gearing up for digital premieres exclusively on Netflix on December 30th.
4) Gold
Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Gold directed by Alphonse Puthren had a theatrical release in December first week. Co-starring Nayanthara, the film is gearing up for OTT premieres on Amazon Prime Video this weekend on December 30th.
5) Matti Kusthi
A Tamil-Telugu bilingual project, Matti Kusthi (Gatta Kusthi in Tamil) starring Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the lead pair had a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil languages on December 2nd. Hero Ravi Teja in collaboration with lead actor Vishnu Vishal bankrolled Matti Kusthi jointly. Written and directed by Chella Ayyavu, Matti Kusthi is slated for digital premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar during this weekend.
6) Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast is a foreign language film gearing up for OTT premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar during this weekend.
7) The Glory
The second season of Korean drama, The Glory is gearing up for premieres on Netflix on December 30th.
