One of Bollywood’s busiest and most successful actors is Akshay Kumar. He frequently receives criticism from his Bollywood counterparts for acting in back-to-back Hindi films, but that doesn’t stop him from taking the lead in popular flicks. In addition, the actor has produced a few duds throughout the course of his lengthy acting career. However, a veteran who has outperformed Akshay and produced 47 disasters out of 180 duds has the worst box office track record in Bollywood.
With more than 65 million Instagram followers, Akshay has a significant online fan base. He has worked admirably on films like Airlift, Special 26, Pad Man, and Rustom, to mention a few, and has been a part of Bollywood for more than three decades.
According to a survey, legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty, not Akshay Kumar, has the most Bollywood box office failures. You did read that correctly. According to sources, Mithun has starred in over 140 bad films, 47 of which had horrendous box office results.
He has also appeared in more than 50 successful films, some of which are Disco Dancer, The Kashmir Files, Pyar Jhugta Nahin, and Anyay Abichar, to name a few. In the course of his long career, Mithun Chakraborty has produced almost 300 films, yet from 1993 to 1998, 33 of them were failures.
