Aditya Narayan recalls how Anu Malik gave him his biggest break in Bollywood while hosting the current season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.
Aditya Narayan, a singer, recounted how Anu Malik, a musical genius, gave him his biggest break in Bollywood and expressed his gratitude to him. Himesh Reshammiya, Neeti Mohan, and Anu Malik serve as judges in the singing reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,” which has returned for a new season with Aditya serving as host.
While the judges have given a few contestants the chance to land their big Bollywood breaks, Anu Malik gave a young Aditya his biggest break in Bollywood decades ago.
Aditya Narayan expressed his sincere thanks for being able to work alongside Anu Malik once more and credited the title track of the well-known film “Akele Hum Akele Tum” for being the catalyst for his first substantial musical success.
Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala play the key characters in the 1995 love drama. Anu Malik provided the film’s soundtrack. Udit Narayan and Aditya, a father-and-son pair, sang the song’s title tune, “Akele Hum Akele Tum.” The song gave Aditya a head start in the music industry.
The host modestly acknowledged that Anu Malik’s mentoring and advice were a big part of his achievement and emphasised that the young contestant on “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023” could learn a lot from him and his other judges.
Talking about the same, Aditya said: “Anu sir stands amongst the living legends of the Indian music industry, and I feel honoured that we have collaborated on numerous occasions before this show.”
“He is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional composers and I cannot express my admiration for him in words. My journey to where I am today is greatly owed to Anu Malik Ji; it was through him that I secured my first major breakthrough in Bollywood. I am really grateful to you, Anu Ji,” shared the 36-year-old singer.
While the programme began on a musical note with participants from all around the country vying for a spot in the top 12, a select few judges were mesmerised by their distinctive voices and love of singing.
For the first time ever, “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” will give a few finalists the opportunity to release their songs via Zed Music Company even before the season is over.
