The much anticipated release of the movie “Hi Nanna,” featuring Natural Star Nani and talented actor Mrunal Thakur, hit theaters today and received positive acclaim from audiences and critics alike. Directed by debutant Shouryuv, the film also stars Baby Kiara Khanna in a significant role.
According to the recent information, the film has secured an OTT streaming partner. Netflix, a popular digital streaming platform, purchased the digital rights to this film for a reasonable price. The film boasts a stellar cast, contributing pivotal roles in this production by Vyra Entertainments.
However, the film’s release faced several challenges—a mid-week launch on a Thursday and heavy rainfall in Chennai affecting the weather in the Telugu states. Consequently, the initial collections during the noon shows scored below average, lagging behind the figures set by other recent releases like “Shyam Singha Roy” and “Ante Sundaraniki.”
Although the theatrical value of “Hi Nanna” stands at 30Cr, the film is anticipated to witness a significant surge in numbers during the evening shows. The early figures and advance bookings were notably lower compared to previous festive releases like Dasara, with some locations even reporting lower collections than noon shows of other films due to the adverse impact of rain and the mid-week release.
