For the past few years, the news is spreading like a wide fire that Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor will be making her South debut soon but there is no official confirmation regarding it, to date.
As per the reports, Janhvi is approached for the female lead in Tollywood star NTR’s upcoming film under the direction of Koratala Siva. Being bankrolled by Sudhakar Mikkilineni under Yuvasudha Arts banner, the film will go on the floors in March, say sources. However, an official announcement regarding Janhvi Kapoor’s entry into #NTR3O is yet to be out
On the other hand, the news is coming in from Kollywood sources is that Janhvi Kapoor is roped in as the female lead in director Lingusamy’s next. Said-to-be a sequel to the director’s 2010 hit, Paiyaa, the first installment has Karthi and Tamannaah in the lead roles. Reportedly, Lingusamy is planning to rope in Arya and Janhvi as the lead pair in the sequel.
Responding to the news in circulation regarding Janhvi Kapoor’s Tamil debut, her father cum reputed filmmaker Boney Kapoor tweeted”Dear Media Friends, This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors”.
It is widely known that Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Mili, a thriller that is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam movie Helen. Currently, she is working on Mr. and Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. She also has Bawaal with Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
