Pan-India star Prabhas’ upcoming film, Project K under the direction of Nag Ashwin is progressing at a fast pace. Touted as a sci-fi thriller, this massive project is being bankrolled by C Ashwini Dutt under his Vyjayanthi Movies banner.
Meanwhile, in a recent web interaction, producer Ashwini Dutt revealed the status of the film.”Project K is already 70% complete, and we began VFX work in 5 VFX companies 5 months ago. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone will join the shoot soon, and they’ve only left 7-10 days of work.Prabhas is the main focus of Project K, but these three characters will carry the entire film”.
Talking about the film’s director, Ashwini Dutt said”I knew Nag Ashwin was going to show Savitramma’s rise and fall when he made Mahanati, but he surprised me by making it an emotional journey. There are various elements in Project K, but it has a strong content,sentiment and emotions”.
“While watching Project K, you don’t get the impression that you’ve seen this scene or sequence before. The fights will be one-of-a-kind because we’ve brought in masters from America, South Africa, and a few from our own. Mickey J Meyer is not scoring music for Project K. Santosh Narayanan, has been roped to score BGM and music . We have also roped in Bollywood lady musician. On the other hand, yet to announce a long list of the film’s star cast. We will soon make an official announcement.We’re making a prestigious film in our production with confidence and very excited about it”.
Amidst high expectations, Project K is gearing up for a grand release in Hindi and all South versions January 12,2013.
