Pan-India star Prabhas starrer Adipurush is scheduled for a June 16th relase. Touted as a mythological drama, Adipurush is a motion capture drama based on the epic Ramayana. Prabhas is essaying Lord Rama role in this graphical film.
Co-starring Kriti Sanon in the goddess Sita role, the film is being made in 3D format, Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut is the director for Adipurush. Meanwhile, in a recent web interaction, the film’s editor Ashish Mhatre speaking about the chemistry between the lead pair said”I just cannot explain how beautiful Prabhas and Kriti Sanon looks onscreen. There are many emotional scenes that the audience will connect with and Kriti and Prabhas just make it look even more appealing”.
Adipurush also stars Sunny Singh and Saif Ali Khan in Laxmana and Lankesh roles respectively. T-Series banner is bankrolling this high-budget drama that will have a pan-India release. Though a few weeks back news came out that Adipurush’s release might be preponed to June 2nd as Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan which is scheduled for the same date is likely to postpone, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
Apart from Adipurush, Prabhas has three more films in the form of Salaar with Prashanth Neel, Project K with Nag Aswin and an untitled film with Maruthi at the shooting stage.
