This Actor Under Consideration for YS Jagan’s Biopic

Tamil actor Jiiva approached for YS Jagan biopic. Yes, if the latest reports from the film circles are to be believed, a biopic is on the cards keeping in mind the upcoming general elections in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Making a biopic is not a new thing in Tollywood. Earlier during the 2019 elections a film titled, Yatra, a biopic on the late chief minister YS Rajashekhar Reddy was made just before the 2019 elections.

The film was directed by Mahi V Raghav and has benefitted the political ambitions of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the son of YSR.

Interestingly, in one of press meets earlier when Dulquer was asked if he is ready to play YS Jagan in Yatra 2, the actor said that he is ready to play the current AP Chief Minister’s role if approached by the makers.

But the fact check is after witnessing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule for the past four years, who will be ready to watch a biopic on him? Will director Mahi V Raghav dare to make a sequel to Yatra during these dull circumstances? Remains to be seen.
