These two theatre chains to merge soon?

It is well-known that multiplex culture is widely spreading across the country for the past decade or so. Cashing in on the craze for multiplex movie watching experience of the audience, already theatre chains such as PVR, Inox, Cinepolis are in the market as leading theatrical service providers.

Meanwhile, the latest talk among the trade circles is that there is a possibility for the merger of PVP and Cinepolis theatre chains soon. Reportedly, as of now, talks are going on and an official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out soon.

If PVR and Cinepolis come under one roof, the joint company will have more than 1250 screens to operate across the country, say reports.
