Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam, a legendary combination, are working together again after 30 years on their new film “Thug Life“. Their previous collaboration, “Nayagan” is considered a classic in Indian cinema. Now “Thug Life” started filming a few months ago and is Kamal Haasan’s 234th movie.
The main star cast includes young actors Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi, who were initially reported to have left the project shockingly but were convinced by big star Kamal Haasan to return. Mani Ratnam even considered replacing Dulquer with another star Simbu, but the latter was offered a different role instead.
With three talented heroes on this prestigious board, expectations are high among industry. The film team has been working hard on the film, with Trisha Krishnan playing the main female lead. They recently scouted locations in Serbia for the climax end scenes, which promises to be exciting and action-packed to sequence.
The film features music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, and fight choreography by KGF fame Anbariv. Mani Ratnam is not only directing the film but also co producing this project and writing the script. With such a talented team, “Thug Life” is expected to be a blockbuster hit which is expected to be by the end of 2024.
