Theatres to reopen from this date across Telangana

It is well-known that the theatres across twin Telugu states are closed in the third week of April due to the widespread of Corona second wave cases. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the cinema halls across Telangana state will be reopened from July 1st with 50% occupancy.

An official confirmation regarding the same came out this afternoon. On the other hand, there is no clue on when the theatres will reopen in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Sources confirm that as the Covid situation is not under control across Andhra Pradesh, the government is not likely to allow for the theatrical screening anytime soon.

However, inside reports suggest that no film will have a theatrical release for the next couple of months in Tollywood as most of the filmmakers are keen on releasing the movies during the upcoming Dussehra season.
