All the theaters and multiplexes have been given permission to reopen the theaters from October 15th. While the theaters have thought against reopening, multiplexes have opened with old films. While in the north circuit theaters open with old films like Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Thappad, Good Newwz, Housefull 4, Chhichhore, and Dream Girl audiences are not ready to take the risk as the COVID wave is still on the boom. On the other hand, audiences are not ready to give up money for already watched movies that are streaming on OTT platforms.

In Vishakapatnam, a couple of multiplexes have been opened. Movies like Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikunthapurramulo, and Bheeshma are being played. However, the response is very minimal. The nett collections of every show are less than Rs. 1,000 which is quite shocking.

The trend is going to continue like this in the coming weeks as well. So theaters and multiplexes need new movies to bring the audiences back.
