Famous Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Vaccine War has been released in theaters today. This film is about the vaccine made for Coronavirus. Recently, social media was very hot regarding this film. There are many veteran actors in this film including Nana Patekar. Let us know how this film is!

Story: The film story starts with Indian scientists focused on making medicine for Coronavirus. There is a team of scientists under the leadership of Nana Patekar who is busy making a medicine for this deadly virus. There are mostly women in this team and without caring for their lives, this team is moving ahead on the sole mission of making the medicine for Corona.

Meanwhile, he also has to face many types of criticism and opposition. Then the story progresses of how a scientist overcomes all these difficulties and creates a vaccine.

Performances: The most special thing about this film is the casting of the film, every character has given its best in the film. The most important character of the film is Nana Patekar, who has breathed life into the film with his character. Pallavi Joshi is good in the role of a doctor. She played the character of a South Indian woman which is really very good. Raima Sen is playing the role of a journalist, she has also acted well, although at some places she failed to enhance her character. Anupam Kher has added life to the film with his guest appearance.

Technicalities: Vivek Agnihotri has taken charge of the direction of this film, and has previously become famous by directing Tashkent Files and Kashmir Files. He knows how to get work from each of his actors and his biggest specialty is that most of his films have actors associated with theatre, due to which each of his films seems very close to reality. We had definitely read about doctors and laborers on TV and in the news, but now the experience of showing and seeing this on screen about scientists was very exciting. The mood, expressions, and pain of the scientists have been shown well. The dialogue of the film is also quite tremendous. The music in this film has been given by Vanraj Bhatia and Rohit Sharma and lyrics have been written by Vasant Dev and Shreya Ghosh. The background music of the film is quite good. Overall, the film is worth watching.

Analysis: This film of Vivek Agnihotri has captured the plot very well, and Vivek’s way of telling the story has always been amazing. But this time the first half of Vivek’s film has become a little loose, due to which the film seems dragged. In some places, the film also seems to be praising the government.

An important thing about the film is that many technical terms have been used in the film, due to which the film becomes a bit boring. Another flaw of the film is that the film only shows the preparation of Corona medicine and its delivery to the people, however, the film forgot to raise questions on the health system of the country, which makes it difficult to digest easily. Many times the film seems to be showing its ideology.

Verdict: Overall, the actors acted well in the film, but the story of the film actually seems incomplete, due to which it is a bit boring.

Rating: 2/5
