The Unbreakable Bonds of Two Directors with Big Heroes

It’s intriguing how young and talented Telugu cinema directors are increasingly focusing on senior actors like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Venkatesh for major film projects. There seems to be a trend where directors who have collaborated with one senior actor are now moving on to work with another.

Director KS Bobby, after his successful film “Waltair Veerayya” with Megastar Chiru, is set to direct Balakrishna’s next project. Bobby’s earlier works include “Venky Mama” with Venkatesh and his debut film “Power” with Raviteja.

Another director, Anil Ravipudi, is currently working on “Bhagavanth Kesari” starring Balayya, and rumours suggest that he might also direct a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi. Anil’s previous works include “F2” with Venkatesh and “Raja The Great” with Raviteja.

If director Gopichand Malineni also joins this trend by signing a movie with Megastar Chiru, he will join the ranks of directors like Bobby and Anil who have worked with senior Tollywood heroes. Gopichand’s filmography includes “Bodyguard” with Venky, several films with Raviteja, and a recent project with Balayya. This shift in focus toward senior actors by these young directors is reshaping the dynamics of Telugu cinema.
