Pop Singer Smitha created a sensation with her songs 2 decades ago and became a regular collaborator for famous music directors with songs that could accommodate her husky voice.
She did a song based on Baahubali film’s Kalakeya language Kili Kili and has been attending events regularly, to entertain her fans. She even turned into an actress with Malliswari film but then sticked to singing, mostly.
Now, she announced that she and her husband got tested positive for Covid and they are advised home quarantine as it is mild. She revealed that she stayed at home all the time and then joked that still Covid visited her.
Later, she told a fan that only an electrician came to her house recently and that could be the only source for her to contract it. The scary thing is that she was having body pains and no other symptoms but she got tested anyway to be on safe side. As it is revealed that she indeed contracted virus, she and her husband are taking medicines to get back to full fitness, it seems.
She wrote on Twitter,
“Mad mad day yesterday. Had some body pains which I thought was due to heavy workout but got tested to be on safe side. Shashank & I tested covid positive. Mostly asymptomatic. Waiting to kick Covid out, donate plasma & chill. We Stayed Home Stayed Safe but Covid came home”
