Kaikala Satyanarayana is one of the legends of Telugu Cinema and he is considered as second to only SV Ranga Rao in showing versatility on screen. He featured in more than 600 films as an actor in supporting and lead antagonist roles. He never got any Padma Shri or Padma Bhushan or National awards from Government of India. He did not just act in films but he produced and distributed few. Recently, he distributed KGF Chapter 1 in Telugu.
He is an inspiration to many actors when it comes to handling the negative roles and similar roles with a difference from each one. He should have been recognised for his work long time ago and he did express grave disappointment, in not being recognized and not being offered roles, as well. The actor even joined Telugu Desam Party during its foundation years and worked hard to take it into the public. On his birthday, film fans have started demanding Telugu Governments to recommend his name for Padma Awards and we hope he will be awarded one, soon. We wish the legend, a very Happy Birthday and his contribution to Cinema can never be forgotten.
