Tamil Star Actor, Vijay Sethupathi who is revered as Makkal Selvan in Tamil Cinema, got challenged by his Telugu film, Uppena team to participate in Green India Challenge. Before him Samantha Akkineni, Tamanna Bhatia, Raashi Khanna and few others have participated in the challenge. The actor took the challenge and planted saplings at his home garden. He is known as a “Nature Lover” and the actor promotes fight against global warming and asks his fans regularly to participate in good causes that are dedicated to keep our surroundings green.
This video proves that again. He is slowly spreading his wings from Tamil Cinema to Pan India level and he acted with Megastar Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, recently. His next Telugu film is Uppena, in which he played the role of an antagonist. Movie is written and directed by Buchi Babu, an associate of director Sukumar. Devi Sri Prasad scored music for the film and Vaishnav Tej, Kriti Shetty are getting introduced to screen through the film. It was supposed to release in April but now producers are looking at Dasara date or Sankranthi season, to release the film.
