The shooting for Alia Bhatt’s next to resume soon

Along with Rajamouli’s RRR, Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has a period biographical drama, Gangubai Kathiawadi in hand. Being helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film’s shooting was stalled in mid-April after the Maharashtra state government imposed Covid lockdown.

Meanwhile, a couple of days back the government has provided the new lockdown relaxations and the Bollywood industry is gearing up to resume the shootings soon. Now, the latest news is that following Covid protocols and guidelines, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to resume the shooting for Gangubai from the 15th of this month.

Gangubai Kathiawadi was initially scheduled for a July 30th release but is likely to postpone due to the delay in the shooting.
