Director Abhishek Nama said Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure was inspired by the mystery surrounding the unopened Vault B of the Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
He imagined a great fictional story about the treasure hidden inside and developed it into a fantasy adventure.
Starring Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, Iswarya Menon, Jagapathi Babu, Mahesh Manjrekar and Rishabh Sawhney the film is set for a worldwide release on July 3rd.
Made on a budget of over Rs. 100 crore, most of the money was spent on grand sets, artwork and CGI. The film will release in more than 2,500 screens worldwide.
Abhishek said the story is the film’s biggest strength and also revealed that the team is already considering a sequel, Nagabandham 2 after the positive response to the promotions.
