cashing in on the contraversial topic, The Kerala Story has performed well on its first day at the box office and earned ₹ 8.03 Cr India net. The day-2 collections of Kerala Story’s 2nd-day box office collection and occupancy are encouraging as well.
The Kerala Story may earn 11.00 Cr India net on its second day. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, “The Kerala Story” is along the lines of director Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files” which turned out to be a huge blockbuster last year. The Kashmir Files took the opening of around 3.50 crores, but the word of mouth and controversy helped it big times as it ended up scoring over 250 crores net and over 340 crores gross at the worldwide box office.
Will The Kerala Story surprise the trade by outshining the life time collections of The Kashmir Files? Remains to be seen.
