The film team waited a year for me : Tapsee

Tapsee after her stinct with Hindi Cinema for over an year, returned to Telugu Cinema, with Anando Brahma. The actress still has Hindi films like Judwaa in her hand but she wanted to work on this horror comedy with Srinivas Reddy and other comedians as she felt script is the real hero of this movie. The actress interacted with media on Sunday about the movie.

She said, ” No body knew Prabhas, Rajamouli and other actors before Baahubali National wide but today they are stars in their own right. Telugu Cinema is one industry that has given such a worldwide phenomenal epic now and I hope people will stop thinking about actors and start looking at the script on the whole.” The actress expressed her displeasure about the audience also asking her who is the hero when she released the first look of the movie.

She continued, “I am here to act and for me it is important that script speaks to me. This one did and even though I am busy I did the movie working double time. The movie team waited over a year for me and I felt so important that it pleased me every much. Since they gave me such importance I went the extra mile and did the movie even though I was busy with other commitments. I hope people will start looking at films as ensembles rather than hero centric or heroine centric. This film is not heroine oriented and it is fun enjoyable comedy of 2 hrs length.”
