Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy completing his Sankranthi Mega release, Khaidi No 150. The movie is the official remake of Vijay and AR Murugadoss Kaththi. The film was a big blockbuster for Vijay in 2014 and the movie has a social message that is most important for todays generation. VV Vinayak who made Tagore with Chiranjeevi that was again a remake of Ramana by the director of Kaththi, Murugadoss. The movie started in August had been shot at great speed to make it a Sankranthi release. On the other hand, the competitor Balakrishna is also coming with his biggest and fanciest film, 100th one, in Krrish Direction, titled Gautamiputra Satakarni for Sankranthi as well.
Fans and common audience are waiting for the clash to take effect and awaiting the result as well. Last time both of them clashed at box office, with Mrugaraju and Narasimha Naidu, 15 years ago. By the time both films will release it will be 16 years and Mega fans want to win the clash and Nandamuri fans want to repeat the feat.
Keeping all this clash-citement aside, both the films have entered the last leg of their shooting schedules. While GSPK is shooting the songs and few patch work to finish off the film and planned for a final copy by December 20. Now, Khaidi No 150 has also entered the final leg of its shoot. The filming of the climax has started few days ago and it has entered the final fight shoot from today.
Kanal Kannan is the fight master who is composing the fight and VV Vinayak is over looking the proceedings. Chiranjeevi will be delivering some high octane punches and lines as well it seems. Kajal Aggarwal is the lead actress in the film. Ram Charan Tej is producing the film on Konidela Productions. The buzz is that Chiranjeevi will be seen as elderly character and young character in the film.
