The Birth of Vennela: The backbone of Virata Parvam

From the songs, trailer, and promotional events, it is clear that the character of Vennela is the backbone of Virata Parvam. Rana Daggubati has made this clear in his speech at the pre-release event, saying that there’s no Virata Parvam without Vennela, the character that was elevated to the next level because of Sai Pallavi.

During the pre-release event of the film, Venkatesh launched a never before seen video from the film, titled The Birth of Vennela, in which we get to see the circumstances under which Vennela is born. Not only is the video dripping and shot beautifully, but it is also a very bittersweet moment. Nivetha Pethuraj makes a guest appearance in the scene, where her character is seen helping Vennela’s mother give birth to Vennela, and it is her character that names the leading lady Vennela. Soon after, she gets killed, resulting in the bittersweet ending of the scene.

Virata Parvam is directed by Venu Udugula, who is making his directorial debut with the film, and the film is all set to be released on June 17th. Priyamani, Naveen Chandra, Eeswari Rao, Waheeda Rahman, and Rahul Ramakrishna will be seen in key roles in the film.
