Anirudh Ravichander is a big name in Kollywood. He is the topmost music director and has scored music for every top hero in the Tamil Film Industry. Among much hype, he debuted in Tollywood, with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s 25th film, Agnyathavaasi, in 2018. The album of the film was a blockbuster, and the expectations on the film were also massive at the time of the release. Upon releasing though, Agnyathavaasi became a nightmare for everyone involved in the project, and for Pawan’s fans.
Trivikram was supposed to work with Anirudh for Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, but following the disaster of Agnyathavaasi, Thaman replaced Anirudh for ASVR. Anirudh, later on, scored the music for other films like Nani’s Gangleader and Jersey but didn’t work with a big star. He continues to score music for big stars in Kollywood, nevertheless and has now seemingly been roped in to score the music for NTR’s film with Koratala Siva.
Everyone thought that Koratala would collaborate with DSP once again, but the director chose Anirudh. If the film manages to be a huge hit, then Anirudh would become busy in Telugu as well, with top actors and directors wanting to work with him. This is the biggest opportunity for Anirudh in Telugu, and here’s hoping he uses it to his full advantage.
