Naga Vamsi is one producer who need no introduction in Tollywood. Apart from looking after the activities of his uncle Suryadevara Radha Krishna’s Haarika&Haasini Creations banner, Vamsi established his own banner Sithara Entertainments a few years back and has been continuously doing films.
Along with small and medium range films, Naga Vamsi is producing big-ticket films like Bheemla Nayak with stars like Pawan Kalyan. Recently, he produced a film titled, Butta Bomma. Released on February 4th, the film failed to impress the audience and ended up as a disaster at the box office.
Meanwhile, in a recent web interaction, when Naga Vamsi was asked regarding the box office performance of Butta Bomma he said”Even before ten days of release when we saw Butta Bomma we realised that it won’t run in theaters and it’s the reason why we haven’t took any advances from distributors”.
Starring Anikha Surendran, Arjun Das, and Surya Vashistta in the key roles, Butta Bomma was directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar T Ramesh. The film is an official remake of the 2020 Malayalam film, Kappela.
As his next, Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments banner has a Telugu-Tamil bilingual titled, Sir/Vaati gearing up for February 17th release. Starring Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon as the lead pair, Sir is directed by Tollywood director Venky Atluri. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
